How do I calibrate it for the first use?

For first use, two manual calibrations are recommended. Place the device in a standard 400PPM environment (ventilated window/outdoors), hold the down arrow button for 3s to calibrate. After 24 hours, repeat the same steps for a second calibration.

What is the ideal placement location for the CO2 Monitor?

What type of battery is required for CO2 detector and low battery warning?
