DUAL-SIDED 19-TINE HEAD: This 15-inch dethatcher rake features 19 curved steel tines. One side lifts dead grass and surface buildup; flip the head to loosen topsoil and cultivate the lawn surface. The wide head covers more ground with each pass.
THREE ADJUSTABLE LENGTHS: Configure the sectional stainless steel handle to approximately 40, 55 or 70 inches for different users and lawn care tasks. The adjustable length helps reduce bending and extend reach, while the cushioned non-slip grip provides comfortable handling and improved control.
THATCH REMOVAL & SEASONAL CLEANUP: Designed to remove thatch buildup, dead grass, fallen leaves and light debris, this manual lawn dethatcher helps improve airflow, water penetration and sunlight exposure at the soil surface. Use it as a grass rake, dethatch rake or dead grass remover tool for regular lawn maintenance.
HARDENED MANGANESE STEEL HEAD: The rake head is made from quenched manganese steel with a powder-coated finish to help resist rust, wear and weather exposure. Reinforced curved tines support repeated dethatching, lawn grooming and seasonal yard maintenance.
ASSEMBLY, STORAGE & USE CHECK: Assemble the twist-lock handle sections and confirm all supplied parts and fasteners are present and secure before use. Recheck connections during longer sessions. The detachable design makes this lawn dethatcher easier to transport and store. Manual dethatching requires physical effort, so work in manageable sections.
Customers find the dethatcher to be a high-quality, sturdy tool that effectively removes thatch, with one customer noting it pulls out dead matted grass with minimal effort. They consider it worth the money and appreciate its versatility, with one mentioning it’s perfect for small yards. Assembly experiences are mixed – while some find it very easy to assemble, others report missing nuts and screws. Durability is a concern as the handle keeps slipping off during use.
