4000K COOL WHITE SMOOTH TRIM RETROFIT. The Sunco 5/6 Inch Smooth LED Retrofit Downlight delivers 965 lumens of 4000K Cool White overhead light through a smooth, open-face trim profile. The smooth trim maximizes light delivery into spaces where focus and task clarity are the priority, eliminating the absorption loss of stepped baffle designs. Neutral Cool White works naturally in home offices, kitchens, study rooms, and utility areas. Compatible with most LED dimmers for brightness control throughout the day.
EVEN OVERHEAD COVERAGE. Sunco 5/6 Inch Smooth LED Recessed Lights deliver flicker-free CRI 80+ output across 50,000 rated hours. The smooth open-face trim produces even overhead coverage without the ceiling shadow patterns that stepped baffle designs can introduce in task-oriented spaces. At 4000K, surfaces, documents, and materials appear accurately lit with neutral clarity.
RETROFIT INSTALLATION IN STANDARD 5 AND 6 INCH CANS. The included TP24 to E26 adapter and spring clips connect to any standard 5 or 6 inch recessed can housing. No rewiring, no housing replacement, and no modification to the existing ceiling opening required. The smooth downlight clips flush with the ceiling for a professional finish in offices, kitchens, bathrooms, and hallways.
DIMMABLE, DAMP RATED, 50,000-HOUR LIFESPAN. Smooth, flicker-free dimming at all brightness levels. Damp rated for indoor use in bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms. Rated for 50,000 hours of reliable operation, approximately 45 years at 3 hours of daily use. Operating range: -4°F to 104°F.
UL LISTED, FCC CERTIFIED, ROHS COMPLIANT. UL listed for safety and code compliance. FCC certified and RoHS compliant. Damp rated for moisture-prone indoor spaces. Rated for 50,000 hours of low-maintenance performance.
Customers love these LED recessed lights for their brightness, with one noting a great balance between daylight and soft light, and appreciate their appearance, particularly the 4000 Kelvin color temperature. They are easy to install, with one customer mentioning it takes about 2-3 minutes per light to switch out, and customers like the color, with one noting they’re perfect for their white kitchen with black granite. While some customers report no issues, others mention the lights fail after about 6 months, and customers report stability issues with lights falling out of the ceiling and clips popping off easily.
