I am unable to pair my device/why does the Smart Shade Driver constantly lose connection with my phone app?

To ensure a stable connection, ensure your WiFi dongle is always plugged in, connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network, and within 10-15ft of the motor. Also, a quick power cycle (turning both the driver and dongle off/on) can refresh the connection.

Is the Smart Shade Driver compatible with Alexa or Google Home?

Yes. The included WiFi dongle lets the driver connect to your Wi-Fi and integrate with both Alexa and Google Home. The WiFi dongle must be plugged in at all times and requires access to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.

How long does the rechargeable battery last, and how do I recharge it?

The rechargeable, long-life battery is designed to last up to 2 months per charge. However, battery life may vary depending on the weight of your window shade and frequency of use. You can recharge it easily using the included USB-C cable.

What types of shades or blinds will the driver work with?

It works with existing roller blinds that use a plastic or metal beaded chain. It is recommended for roller blinds up to 3 kg (6.6 lbs) and requires a minimum of 2 inches of window frame depth for mounting. Not compatible with corded shades.
