Product description

How thick of a door can the magnetic key unlock through?

It depends on where you install the lock:

Top edge: up to 2 in. thick

Side edge: up to 1.5 in. thick

Will SKYLA HOMES magnetic locks work with my cabinets? Which types are compatible?

Compatible: Inset cabinets; full or partial Overlay Cabinets

I couldn’t install the locks on my Inset Cabinets. What should I do?

Improper placement on Inset Cabinet doors is usually caused by not measuring first. Please watch the installation video in the manual, then reinstall.

Do you have extra adhesive for replacement?

Yes. We include extra replacement adhesive strips in the package.

Our Magnetic Locks are Not Compatible With:

Metal cabinets, handle-free (no-hardware) cabinets, open upper cabinets, or drawers with no lip/edge. For custom cabinets, make sure there is a flat surface for the lock to stick to. Please check your cabinet type before ordering.

HIDDEN FROM VIEW – Magnetic cabinet locks mount inside cabinets and drawers to help limit access while keeping the lock hardware out of sight from the exterior.
ALIGN AND INSTALL WITHOUT DRILLING – Use the positioning cradle to align the latch and catch, then clean and fully dry the surface, press firmly, and allow the adhesive to set for 24 hours.
WORKS THROUGH CABINET PANELS – The magnetic key releases the latch through cabinet doors up to 2 inches thick when the magnetic path is clear. Test magnetic reach before final installation.
EASY ADULT ACCESS – Hold the magnetic key over the lock location to release the latch. The built-in on/off switch allows temporary unlocked use when child safety mode is not needed.
10 PACK WITH 2 KEYS – Includes 10 magnetic cabinet locks and 2 magnetic keys. Test fit before installation and avoid locations where metal parts block the magnetic path.
Customers find the cabinet locks easy to install with no drilling required and appreciate their functionality. The locking mechanism and adhesiveness receive mixed feedback – while some find the locks easy to open and the adhesive strong, others report issues with locks not staying locked and doors not sticking properly. The sturdiness and value for money also get mixed reviews, with some finding them strong enough to keep children out of cabinets while others report them breaking, and some consider them a good buy while others say they’re not worth the price.
