The Proctor Silex® Plastic 2 Slice Toaster has wider slots to easily toast a variety of breads, even thick-sliced breads and bagels. It has a bagel function, defrost and cancel buttons, Toast Boost to lift smaller breads and a slide-out crumb tray.
EVENLY TOAST A VARIETY OF BREADS: The wide slots on this toaster are designed to toast many different breads, even thick bagels and artisan slices. The bread guides hold each slice upright and centered in the slot, so bread is evenly warmed and toasted.
PERFECTLY TOAST BAGELS: The bagel button on this bread toaster extends the toasting time so bagels turn out warm and delicious every time, no matter which direction they face in the toaster. The light on the button illuminates when bagels are toasting.
DEFROST BUTTON FOR TOASTING FROZEN BREADS AND WAFFLES: Use the defrost button on the 2 slice toaster for optimal cook time and flavor when toasting frozen breads and waffles. Simply press one button to defrost and toast.
CUSTOMIZE YOUR TOAST SHADE: Enjoy your toast just the way you like it. Just turn the shade selector on the wide-slot toaster to make lighter or darker toast. Choose from 7 toast shades.
EASILY RETRIEVE SMALLER-SIZED BREADS: The Toast Boost feature on the red toaster lifts smaller breads like English muffins so they’re easier to retrieve after toasting.
Customers find the toaster works better than other models, matches well with Cuisinart teapots, and is good value for money. The color receives mixed reactions, with some loving it while others find it deceptive. The toasting performance and slot length are mixed aspects – while some say it toasts evenly and the slots are perfect size, others report uneven toasting and slots that are too short.
