What is the turtle made of, and can it stay outdoors year-round?

It is made of high-density resin with a stone-like texture and a UV-resistant finish. Rated IP65 for outdoor use, it is designed to handle sun, rain, snow, and seasonal weather. At about 1.54 lb, it is lightweight and easy to move.

Do I need to turn it on, and will it light up automatically at night?

Yes. Set the switch to ON before first use and leave it on. The solar panel charges the built-in AAA Ni-MH battery during the day, and the 7 warm LEDs turn on automatically after dark—no wiring or separate battery purchase is needed.

How long does it need to charge and glow, and where should I place it?

For best performance, place it where the solar panel gets 6–8 hours of direct sunlight. A full charge can provide up to 10 hours of illumination after dark. Avoid consistently shaded areas; cloudy weather may shorten lighting time.

How bright are the lights, and what are they best used for?

The 7 warm LEDs create a soft, cozy decorative glow among the colorful succulent details. They are designed for ambience on patios, lawns, porches, garden paths, and flower beds—not as bright pathway or security lighting.

Is it a good gift, and what makes the materials and packaging more thoughtful?

A charming gift for gardeners and turtle lovers. Parts of the solar unit use GRS-certified recycled plastic content, and the 100% paper-pulp tear-open box helps reduce plastic packaging. Great for birthdays, Mother’s Day, Christmas, and more.
