A Doorbell Chime Extender — an accessory, not a full doorbell. Works with your existing Ring or Blink doorbell to play indoor alerts. Includes chime module and manual only. No button, sensor, or camera. Requires a Ring or Blink doorbell to function.

Does it work without Alexa?

No. The chime needs Alexa Routines to receive doorbell triggers. Without Alexa, it can’t detect when your doorbell is pressed. You’ll need the free Alexa app (iOS/Android) to complete setup.

How do I set it up? Do I need wiring?

No wiring — just plug in. Setup: 1) SmartLife App — add chime to 2.4GHz WiFi. 2) Alexa App — link SmartLife and your Ring/Blink doorbell. 3) Create a Routine so the doorbell triggers the chime. Takes 10–15 min. Video guide on our product page.

Yes. Add multiple doorbells as triggers in your Alexa Routine — both front door and side door can activate the same chime. Assign different ringtones to tell which door is ringing.

What should I do if the chime isn’t working?
