The LG smart Wi-Fi window air conditioner delivers 8,000 BTU of cooling power with a built in dehumidifier function, built for medium sized bedrooms, living rooms, and home offices up to roughly 350 square feet. Housed in a white cabinet designed for standard double hung windows, the unit connects to the LG ThinQ app so temperature, mode, and fan speed can all be adjusted remotely from a smartphone, with voice control available through Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. Its most distinctive feature is the combination of smart connectivity with multiple operating modes, since cool mode handles cooling and dehumidifying together, fan mode simply circulates air, and dry mode offers stronger dehumidifying on especially humid or rainy days. A second standout aspect is the four way air direction system, which spreads cool air evenly across a room from multiple angles instead of blowing it in a single fixed direction, helping eliminate hot spots that simpler units often leave behind. Energy Saver mode automatically cycles the compressor to maintain a set temperature while reducing overall electricity use, and Auto Clean runs a fan cycle after cooling to keep the unit dry and circulate fresher air. Auto Restart, a 24 hour timer, and a dedicated Sleep mode let the unit run on a schedule and recover automatically after any power interruption. The unit also runs quietly enough for bedrooms and home offices, making it a practical fit for spaces where noise matters throughout the day and night.
Smart App And Voice Control: The LG ThinQ app adjusts temperature and mode remotely, with hands free voice control through Alexa or Google Assistant too.
Combined Cooling And Dehumidifying: Cool mode handles both functions together, while dry mode offers stronger dehumidifying on especially humid days out.
Even Multi Direction Airflow: Cool air spreads evenly across a room from multiple angles, helping eliminate hot spots left by simpler window units nearby.
Automatic Energy Saver And Clean: The compressor cycles to reduce electricity use, while Auto Clean keeps the unit dry and circulates fresher air daily.
Scheduled Comfort And Auto Restart: A timer and sleep mode run cooling on a set schedule, while auto restart resumes settings after any brief power outage.
