Under “G“ mode, the light can detect the motion of a human in the dark and will be auto-on within 16 feet, auto-off after 20 seconds of no motion detected. Under “ON” mode, it works as a normal LED light.

Smart Motion Sensor with Daylight Detection:In “G” Mode, the built-in motion sensor activates only in low-light or dark conditions — it will not turn on when sufficient ambient light is detected, helping to conserve battery power. For optimal performance, please avoid placing two motion-activated light bars too close together, as their sensors may interfere with one another and prevent normal operation.
Customers find these under cabinet lights to be wonderful, bright, and perfect for pantry and cabinet lighting. The motion detection and battery life receive mixed feedback – while some say the motion detection works well, others report it stops working at the same time, and while some praise the battery life, others note they don’t stay charged for very long. Moreover, durability is a concern as units die after six months, and opinions on value are divided between those who find them worth the money and those who consider them a waste.
