We purchased the coffee maker as a Christmas gift to ourselves. We set it up and used it several times without any issues. Then I started to notice that I was constantly wiping water up off the counter. I mentioned it to my husband and he said he has been wiping up water too. Upon investigation we discovered it was coming from the new coffee maker. We tried several trouble shooting things such as moving the water reservoir to the back of the coffee maker, replacing the filter etc. Nothing seemed to help. At this point it was now past the return date for Amazon and I had to call Keurig directly. On Keurig’s website it suggested sending an email. So I did that and received a reply right away telling me to look over their trouble shooting guide online, which we had already done. If that wasn’t helpful I was to call customer service and give them a number that was given to me in my email. I called customer service and when I got through I tried to explain the situation and give them the number from my email but the lady I talked to sounded like she didn’t understand me at all. At one point I had to ask if she was still on the phone. She told me her computer didn’t work and I needed to hang up and call back. So I did. This time I got a man on the phone. I once again explained the situation and told him I had a number from my email I was to give him. Once again he had no idea what I was talking about and told me his computer didn’t work and I needed to hang up and call back. I hung up and sent another email to Keurig explaining the situation and what their customer service had said to me. I never received a reply.
Lesson learned. I will never order another appliance off of Amazon. At least if I had purchased the coffee maker in store I would have been able to return the coffee maker directly to the store. We are currently putting paper towel under the Keurig to soak up the water while I research a different brand of coffee maker.
