Say goodbye to tangled, trailing iron cords with the Household Essentials Clamp-On Iron Cord Minder. This ironing essential attaches quickly and securely to any ironing board up to 2″ thick using its adjustable threaded clamp — no tools required. The 20″ flexible spring wand lifts your iron’s cord up and out of the way, bending and flexing naturally with every sweeping motion so you stay focused on getting crisp, clean results. Designed for both right and left-handed users, the 360-degree rotating base means the cord minder works no matter which side of the board you prefer, and when you’re done, simply rotate the wand clockwise to fold it flat against the board for easy storage. Constructed of silver powder-coated metal and measuring 18″H overall with a 20″ wand, this cord minder is built to last and gives you the freedom of two hands so every garment comes out looking its best.

Customers find the iron cord minder effective at keeping cords out of the way and appreciate its functionality. However, the durability and sturdiness receive negative feedback, with customers reporting that the plastic parts break quickly and aren’t strong enough to hold the cord. Moreover, the material quality is criticized for being made of cheap plastic, and customers consider it not worth the money. Installation experiences are mixed, with some finding it easy to attach while others struggle with the process.
