UL 217 10th Ed. Certified & Red Dot Awarded — Meets the UL 217 10th Edition safety standard – the newest and most rigorous smoke alarm requirement in North America. Its compact, low profile, micro purpose-built design earned the Red Dot Design Award in Germany, combining dependable protection with a clean, modern look that fits seamlessly into today’s homes.
Advanced Dual-Wavelength Photoelectric Detection — Red-light and infrared dual-wavelength sensing analyzes smoke characteristics for more accurate detection. This battery powered smoke detector is designed for reliable response to smoke from both smoldering and flaming fire conditions while helping distinguish common nuisance sources, making it a dependable choice for smoke alarms for home.
Easy Installation & One-Touch Test/Silence — No wiring required. Mount the lightweight smoke detector on a wall or ceiling using screws or the included self-stick magnetic adhesive mounting pads. The convenient Test/Silence button simplifies routine checks and nuisance-alarm silencing, while the powerful ≥85 dB alarm at 10 ft and LED status indicator provide clear audible and visual alerts.
Compact Tapered Design & Wide Home Application — Featuring a refined tapered profile, this mini, micro smoke detector measures approximately 2.66 in (67 mm) across the front, 2.74 in (69 mm) across the back, and only 1.45 in (37 mm) high. Its low-profile, space-saving design blends naturally into modern interiors while providing reliable smoke detection for homes, bedrooms, hallways, living areas, apartments, finished attics, basements, and other recommended areas throughout the home.
CR123A Battery Powered & UL94 V-0 Fire-Resistant Housing — Powered by an included replaceable CR123A lithium battery, this small smoke detector continues operating independently of household AC power and provides a low-battery warning when replacement is needed. The flame-retardant ABS+PC housing is UL94 V-0 rated for enhanced heat and flame resistance, while the smoke alarm is designed for a service life of up to 10 years.
Customers find the smoke detector easy to install, with one mentioning it can be attached to the ceiling without drilling, and appreciate its small size and ease of use. The device receives positive feedback for its quality and value for money. However, reliability and battery life are mixed aspects – while some say it works well with a 10-year battery life, others report it stops working without warning and the battery dies within a year. Safety is also a concern, with one customer noting it wakes them up terrified multiple times.
