What is the difference between AUTO Mode and Timer Mode?

AUTO Mode works only at night and turns off after 5 minutes without motion. New motion resets the 5-minute countdown. Timer Mode works day and night for 5, 15, or 30 minutes, and motion does not restart the timer.

Can one sensor control multiple outlets, or can multiple sensors control one outlet?
