Glad GladWare FreezerWare Food Storage Containers are large 64 oz rectangle containers engineered specifically for freezer storage. The FreezerWare plastic is designed to resist cracking and brittleness at freezer temperatures, unlike standard plastic containers that can chip or become fragile when frozen over time. These containers are ideal for home cooks who batch-cook and freeze soups, sauces, stews, casseroles, and grains, families reducing food waste by saving large meal portions in the freezer, and anyone who wants a direct freezer-to-microwave container that eliminates extra transfer steps. Fill containers, snap the lock tight lid firmly until all four edges click, and store in the freezer. To reheat, vent one corner of the lid and microwave directly from frozen. Containers are top rack dishwasher safe. Stack multiple containers in the freezer to maximize storage space.
DESIGNED FOR FREEZER STORAGE: GladWare FreezerWare containers are specifically designed to resist cracking and brittleness in the freezer, unlike standard plastic containers that can break down or chip when frozen.
LARGE 64 OZ CAPACITY: Each large rectangle container holds up to 64 ounces or 8 cups, providing ample space for big batches of soup, sauce, chili, lasagna, and other meals that benefit from bulk freezer storage.
FREEZER TO MICROWAVE SAFE: Containers go directly from the freezer to the microwave without needing to transfer food to another dish, making weeknight meal preparation faster and reducing the number of dishes to clean.
LOCK TIGHT SNAP LID SEAL: Lids snap firmly onto containers to create a seal that helps protect frozen food from freezer burn and maintain freshness during extended freezer storage of soups, stews, and batch-cooked meals.
TOP RACK DISHWASHER SAFE: BPA free containers and lids are designed for top rack dishwasher use after each use, making cleanup straightforward after reheating frozen soups, sauces, and casseroles throughout the week.
INTERLOCKING LIDS FOR ORGANIZATION: Lids nest and interlock to keep cabinet and freezer storage organized, preventing loose lid clutter and making it easy to stack and access multiple containers during batch cooking.
CRACK RESISTANT FREEZER PLASTIC: The FreezerWare plastic formula is engineered to remain flexible at freezer temperatures, helping maintain lid seal integrity and container durability through repeated freeze and thaw cycles.
Customers find these freezer containers to be of great quality, perfect for freezing, and appreciate their size, which holds either two or three portions. The containers stack beautifully in the freezer and fit well together. Durability receives mixed feedback – while some find them durable, others report they crack easily. The lid closure and value for money also get mixed reviews, with some saying the lids snap on securely while others find them problematic, and some consider them worth the price while others find them overpriced.
