Can this be used for laser engraving?

No. This unit is designed for Desktop soldering, electronics repair, and DIY bench work. Laser engraving creates much heavier smoke and requires a larger filtration system, so this model is not recommended.

What is this fume extractor best for?

It is ideal for soldering, PCB repair, electronics assembly, jewelry work, and DIY projects. It captures solder fumes, fine dust, and odors in close-range bench-top applications.

Can it handle heavy smoke?

This unit is built for light to medium smoke from soldering and electronics work. For heavy smoke applications like laser engraving or industrial welding, a larger system is recommended. as our FES150, FES200, FES350 powerful smoke purifier.

Does it remove soldering odors?

How close should the nozzle be?
