Product description

Can I use the camera without a subscription?

Yes. Save motion-triggered videos to a microSD card up to 128GB (sold separately) without a subscription. AI recognition and custom activity zones require a paid plan after the trial.

How long does the battery last, and how do I recharge it?

Battery life varies with activity, settings, and temperature. To recharge, remove the camera and charge via USB; the mount stays in place. Choose the version with a solar panel to reduce manual charging.

Does this camera support 5GHz Wi-Fi?

No. The camera requires 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. If you have a dual-band router, connect it to the 2.4GHz network. Check the Wi-Fi signal at your intended mounting location before installation.

Will the camera still record if Wi-Fi disconnects?

Yes. After setup, the camera can continue saving motion-triggered videos to an installed microSD card if Wi-Fi disconnects. Remote access is unavailable until the connection is restored.

How do I get color video at night?

Enable color night vision in the app so the built-in spotlight can illuminate the scene. Infrared night vision provides a black-and-white image.

2K Color Night Vision That Sees in the Dark-Capture clear, detailed footage with 2K resolution and full color night vision, even in low light. The built-in spotlight automatically illuminates your driveway, backyard, or garage after dark, so you can identify faces, license plates, and package details without guesswork
Smart AI Motion Detection with Customizable Sensitivity-PIR motion detection with AI recognition distinguishes people, pets, vehicles, and packages, sending app alerts only for what matters to you. Adjust sensitivity to reduce false alerts and customize motion zones to focus on key areas. Note that AI recognition and customizable motion zones require a subscription after the trial
Long Battery Life – Up to 3 Months on One Charge-Truly wireless installation – no power cords or network cables needed. Each charge lasts up to 3 months with typical use (varies by settings, triggers, and temperature). When recharging is needed, simply remove the camera from its mount and charge via USB; the included mount stays in place. Note: the battery is built-in and not user-replaceable, and battery life may be reduced in freezing temperatures
IP66 Weatherproof Housing with Wide Temperature Range-The IP66 weatherproof housing protects the camera from rain, snow, and dust, with an operating range of -20°F to 120°F (-29°C to 49°C) for year-round outdoor use. Activate the built-in siren and spotlight to help deter unwanted visitors at your door, gate, or shed
2-Way Audio, Local Storage & Compatibility Notes-Speak with visitors or warn intruders through clear 2-way audio. Save events locally to a microSD card up to 128 GB (card not included) with no subscription required, or use the included 7-day cloud trial. Requires 2.4GHz WiFi and does not support 5GHz; supports WPA2 encryption. Controlled via the Dzees app only – not compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant, RTSP, ONVIF, or third-party NVR. Note: When WiFi is disconnected, the camera continues recording to the SD card, but remote access is unavailable
Customers love this security camera for its clear picture quality, easy setup, and adjustable motion detection. The night vision is particularly praised, with one customer noting clear visibility up to 80 feet during the day. While the camera works well during both day and night, some customers report it stops working after a few hours. Battery life receives mixed feedback – while some say it never needs charging, others find it doesn’t last long.
