Patent Pending Design, Package includes 1 baby safety outlet cover box, 1 outlet cover, 1 switch cover, and 3 screws that can be used for both standard and decorative outlets.
Bates baby safety outlet cover box, which measures 6.3″ x 3.7″ x 2.8″, allows you to cover an outlet even if it’s in use, perfect for keeping electronics in use while helping to create a safer home.
Install in just 4 simple steps: shut off power, remove the existing outlet plate, insert our plate and safety box, and attach with included screws.
This box uses a lock mechanism that’s very easy for adults to open yet difficult for a toddler.
Bates baby safety outlet cover box protects curious babies, toddlers, and young children from getting to electrical outlets and plugs; the perfect solution for the bedroom, nursery, kitchen, home office, and garage.
Customers find the outlet cover effective and highly recommend it for child safety, effectively protecting cords from kids and pets. The ease of use and durability receive mixed feedback – while some find it easy to open and sturdy, others report it’s difficult for children to open and breaks within weeks. The fit and value for money also get mixed reviews, with some noting it accommodates various plug sizes while others say it doesn’t work with horizontal plugs, and some consider it worth the money while others find it pointless.
