Do I need a subscription to view recorded videos?

It comes with built-in 8GB eMMC storage, enabling you to record and view videos locally without a subscription. For extra features, aosuProtect+ subscription plans are available in the app for you to select to suit your needs.

Will the doorbell maintain a stable Wi-Fi connection?

This video doorbell supports dual-band 2.4GHz & 5GHz Wi-Fi for smoother network connection. However, actual signal stability can be affected by router distance, wall obstructions and surrounding wireless interference.

Why are motion alerts delayed, or some visitors not captured on video?

This doorbell uses PIR, radar, and AI triple detection to reduce false alerts from wind or leaves. Its energy-saving design requires a brief wake-up, which may cause a slight delay. Detection performance varies by distance, angle, and obstructions.

Will the battery life stay consistent after months of use?

Lithium batteries will have slight natural capacity attenuation after long-term use, which is normal for rechargeable battery devices. Adjusting motion sensitivity and recording duration properly can effectively slow down power loss.

5MP Ultra HD Resolution & 166° Wide View: See who’s at your door in rich detail with a 5MP camera and 7-piece optical glass lens, capturing clearer views of visitors, deliveries, and activity around your doorstep. See more of your doorstep with a 166° wide view and 4:3 vertical framing designed to capture the full head-to-toe view of visitors as well as packages on the ground.
Triple-Sensor Detection, Fewer False Alerts: A 3-in-1 system combining radar, PIR infrared sensing, and AI human recognition helps improve detection accuracy and reduce unnecessary alerts. Customizable zones allow you to focus on important areas around your porch.
Built-in Local Storage with 60-Day Loop Recording — No Subscription Required: Includes aosuBase Mini with 8GB built-in storage supporting 60-day loop recording. Enjoy real-time alerts, two-way audio, human detection and video playback with zero hidden costs. Optional cloud plans are available for advanced AI features and extended storage.
Dual Power Design, Flexible Installation: Choose wireless battery power for simple, flexible installation with no wiring required, or wired power for continuous, maintenance-free operation without the need for recharging. Designed with IP66 weather resistance for reliable outdoor use year-round.
Smart Home Integration: Works with Alexa and Google Assistant for convenient voice-activated control and instant security notifications to your linked smart home devices.
Customers find the doorbell camera works well, is easy to set up, and offers crystal clear video quality. They appreciate that it doesn’t require a paid monthly subscription and provides free local storage. The connectivity and battery life receive mixed feedback – while the Wi-Fi connection is convenient, some customers report it won’t connect to their network, and though the battery life is great for some, others say it drains fast. Motion detection performance is also mixed, with some customers reporting it captures all movement within parameters while others find it wonky.
