Does this product include local storage?
Yes. The aosuBase comes with a pre-installed 32GB memory card for local video storage. You can expand storage up to 1TB by installing a larger memory card (not included).
How does it connect to my network?
Connect aosuBase to your router with the supplied Ethernet cable, then cameras connect directly to aosuBase via its dedicated wireless link. Don’t need to pair each camera to your home Wi‑Fi separately, nor check if your Wi‑Fi uses 2.4GHz or 5GHz.
How does this product record video? 24/7 or event-based?
The SolarCam Lite adopts event-based recording strategy. It captures video when activity is detected instead of recording hours of inactive footage, helping save storage space and making important events easier to find and review.
Does this security camera system have good night vision?
Yes! It features full color night vision — not just black-and-white IR. You can see clear, vivid color details even in darkness, perfect for identifying people and activities at night.
Is 2K resolution clear enough? How does it compare to 4K?
2K is perfectly clear. On a phone, there’s no visible difference from 4K. It uses less data/storage, runs smoother on mobile, and captures all critical details (faces, license plates, actions) perfectly for home security.

Start Small, Expand Anytime: Choose a 4-cam kit to cover essentials or your entire property. Compact cameras fit key spots to reduce blind zones with minimal hassle, and you can add more cameras as your needs grow.
Wire-Free with Flexible Solar Panel: The split solar panel design lets you mount the camera where coverage is needed and place the panel where it gets real sunlight. This helps reduce manual recharging and keeps outdoor security consistent. Solar performance may vary depending on sunlight, season, placement, and settings.
One System, One App, Local Storage, No Subscription Required: aosuBase brings all your cameras into one unified system for whole-home management and local video storage without mandatory subscriptions required. Expand local storage up to 1TB via microSD for long-term cost control. microSD card sold separately.
All-at-Once Monitoring + Faster Review: View up to 4 cameras on-screen simultaneously in the aosu app. Camera-to-Camera Tracking groups the same person across multiple cameras into a single timeline, reducing repeat alerts and speeding up event review.
Fewer False Alerts, More Trusted Notifications: PIR + AI human detection focuses on people, not random motion, helping reduce false alerts and interruptions. You’ll only be notified when it really matters. Detection performance may vary by placement, distance, lighting, and settings.
Full Color Night Vision + Active Deterrence, Built for Outdoors: Easily identify who’s coming or going, especially at night. Deter intruders with light, sound, and instant notifications. IP65-rated weatherproof design withstands rain, snow, and harsh outdoor conditions.
Customers find the security camera to be of good quality and reliable, with clear day and night visuals and easy setup. The connectivity and battery life receive mixed feedback – while the solar charger keeps the battery charged well, some report it doesn’t reach 100%. Similarly, motion detection and recording performance also get mixed reviews, with some praising the motion detection while others find it bad, and some noting the cameras don’t record when needed.
