Do the cameras and NVR require power?

Yes, both require a power source. “Wireless” refers to the WiFi connection between the cameras and NVR, not the power supply — so no BNC cables are needed between them.

Do I have to pay a monthly fee for this security system?

Nope — it comes with a built-in 1TB hard drive for 24/7 local recording, so there are zero monthly fees. You own your footage and stay in full control, always.

Can this system work with both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi?

Yes, it supports both — 5GHz gives you faster, more stable streaming, and 2.4GHz reaches farther when you need better coverage.

How many cameras can I add to this system?

The NVR supports up to 10 cameras total. The kit comes with 8, and for guaranteed compatibility, we recommend using our cameras — models like I81BM, I81GX, I81BL, I51CP, I51CN, I51CH, I91FK, and I71GK all work seamlessly.

Is this hard to set up if I’m not a tech person?

Not at all — the 8 cameras are pre-synced out of the box. Plug in the NVR, power up, download the app — live in minutes. No tech degree required. For extra cameras, just a quick pairing in the app.

Note: This WiFi camera system requires plug-in power for continuous operation.
【5MP Color Night Vision & AI Human Detection】Experience crisp 5MP live viewing with exceptional clarity, day or night. When the camera’s smart AI detects a human presence, it automatically activates full-color night vision—so you can instantly see visitors, deliveries, and activity around your home in vivid detail, even in low light or complete darkness.
【350°Pan, 90°Tilt & Auto Tracking】Cover more ground with a wide 350°pan and 90°tilt—reducing blind spots for full property visibility. Once enabled (manual activation required in the ANNKE Sight app), the wireless security camera locks onto and follows moving subjects. Ideal for driveways, entrances, backyards, and high-traffic areas with minimal ongoing effort.
【Dual‑Band WiFi (2.4GHz & 5GHz)】Connect via 2.4GHz or 5GHz networks for faster data transmission and smoother live viewing. A dedicated wireless link between the NVR and security cameras helps reduce interference and signal lag, ensuring reliable performance indoors or outdoors. Stay connected and monitor with confidence—whenever and wherever you need.
【Two-Way Audio & Remote Access】Listen and speak in real time through the built-in microphone and speaker via the mobile app—whether you’re greeting visitors, reassuring family, or checking on unexpected activity. With remote access, you stay connected to your home security camera system from anywhere, giving you peace of mind at all times.
【24/7 Reliable Recording】The 10‑channel NVR comes with a pre‑installed 1TB HDD, providing continuous local recording with no monthly fees or recurring costs. Review important moments instantly via playback and enjoy dependable protection thatkeeps your surveillance system recording reliably for home security, day or night, rain or shine.
【Expandable 10CH System】Start with a 10‑channel NVR system and expand up to 10 cameras (8 included, add more anytime). The NVR connects wirelessly to each camera—cameras plug into a power outlet for continuous operation. Easily add cameras for driveways, backyards, or entry points. Manage everything from one unified system with simple setup and the ANNKE Sight app.
Customers find the surveillance system excellent for the money, with extremely clear picture quality that’s better than old analog cameras, and appreciate its functionality as an awesome security setup. The night vision receives mixed feedback – while some are impressed with its ability to see in total darkness, others note it’s not perfect. The phone app works well for some but won’t work with iPhone, and customers find the instructions written by people who don’t understand them. The system lacks a hard drive, which customers consider a significant drawback.
