Does this indoor camera work with 5GHz Wi-Fi?

No. This camera supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only.For setup and stable video, please connect your phone and camera to a compatible 2.4GHz network.

If your phone is connected to a 5GHz network, it will be incompatible with the camera and setup failed.

What are the reasons for connection failure?

1.If your home Wi-Fi supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz,please ensure your phone connect 2.4GHz Wifi ; Otherwise it would fail.

2.It’s possible that your camera is too far from the router, resulting in a weak signal

3.Make sure your network is 2.4GHz Wifi

Can this camera be rotate left,right, up and down by your Mobilephone?

No, it can only be manually controlled to adjust its direction.

How to solve camera connection failure?

You can choose the Wifi or Bluetooth connect to add the device.

If you connect it failure first time, you can press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds to restore the device to factory settings, and then try to connect again.

CAMERA SETUP TIPS: First, download our HIVIDEO app, register account and log in. Then begin adding the device. You have 2 options for adding devices: 2.4G Wi-Fi connection(NOT 5G WIFI) or Bluetooth connection. Regardless of the installation method you choose, ensure your home network is 2.4G properly connected and try to place the device as close to the router as possible. If the device is too far from the router, the Wi-Fi signal may be weak, potentially causing your camera to fail to connect. If the camera fails to connect on the first try, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds to factory setting, then reconnect. If you still can’t connect to the camera, please contact us promptly.
