Product description
Is AOV the same as 24/7 continuous recording?
No. AOV is not traditional 24/7 continuous video. When no motion is detected, it takes images every 2 seconds and combines them into AOV playback to save power. When motion is detected, it switches to normal video recording and sends an alert.
Does it come with a 32GB SD card and is cloud storage optional？
Yes—a 32GB microSD card is included for free local storage and playback, and cloud storage is an optional subscription.
Will it need charging in winter or cloudy weather?
Usually it can handle everyday use with the solar panel and high-capacity battery, but runtime depends on sunlight and how active it is. If needed, you can top it up with manual charging.
Does it work with 2.4GHz WiFi only?
Yes—2.4GHz only (not 5GHz).
Will it still get false alerts?
Our smart AI Human Detection helps avoid false alerts from things like leaves, shadows, and light changes. You can further cut alerts by adjusting sensitivity and setting activity zones.
24/7 Continuous Recording — Not Just Motion Clips — Smart AOV records around the clock with an adaptive frame rate: 15fps during motion for crisp action, low-fps when idle to save power. When battery runs low, it auto-switches to low-power event recording so security stays on — it does not stop recording entirely.
Record Locally Right Out of the Box — 32GB microSD included (supports up to 256GB). Also includes 7-day rolling cloud clips (6-second) for quick check-ins. Optional cloud storage is available for off-device backup. No monthly fee required for local recording.
10W Solar Panel + 9000mAh Heated Battery — No outlets, no cables. Built-in battery heating technology charges even below 32°F (0°C), so it keeps working through winter. This solar security camera works on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (not 5GHz) for better wall penetration, IP65 weatherproof—simple in-app setup. Supports wall or ceiling mounting; leave enough clearance for the camera to pan and tilt freely. (Runtime varies by use, sunlight, and settings.)
98 ft / 30 m Long-Range Alerts + Fewer False Alarms — Get alerts from up to 98 ft (30 m)—up to 3× longer range than typical event-only cameras, so you know sooner. AI Human Detection helps reduce false alarms from wind, shadows, and passing cars. Auto Tracking follows movement to keep the subject in frame. The 2-pack works in one app, so you can view both cameras and share access with family.
4MP Night Vision + 360° Pan & 100° Tilt — The camera has an 80° horizontal field of view at any one time and physically pans 360° horizontally and tilts 100° vertically. View sharp 4MP video day or night, with 8X digital zoom for a closer look. A spotlight illuminates motion, while the siren and two-way audio let you warn or speak to visitors through the MUBVIEW app.
Customers love this security camera for its clear day and night footage, excellent motion detection that tracks people and cars well, and battery life that never needs recharging. They find it easy to set up and consider it worth the price. The reliability and connectivity receive mixed feedback – while some say it works well, others report it doesn’t function properly.
