MASAKIYO Traditional Japanese Nejiri Kama Weeding Sickle

TIME-TESTED TOOL FOR PROFESSIONAL FARMERS

This is not just a garden hobby tool; it is an authentic implement relied upon by professional Japanese farmers for generations. For decades, it has been the trusted choice in Japanese agriculture for its undeniable practicality and endurance in the harshest soil conditions.

PREMIUM JAPANESE STEEL

Made with high-quality carbon steel (“Hagane”) that holds its sharpness longer. This professional-grade material is tough enough for heavy-duty landscaping yet precise enough for delicate flower beds.

MASAKIYO Nejiri Kama – Japanese Weeding Sickle Hoe is a proven implement designed for the rigorous demands of real-world agriculture, not just occasional garden hobby use.

The Mark of a Living Legacy: The MASAKIYO Seal

This seal is more than a label; it is a blacksmith’s sacred promise forged in the heart of Saga. Every time you see the MASAKIYO mark, you are holding the culmination of over 80 years of heritage and the silent dedication of master artisans. It represents a tool that has been refined not in a designer’s studio, but in the unforgiving soil of professional Japanese farms.

Hand-forged by Yoshida Hamono, this mark ensures that your tool possesses the legendary sharpness and resilience required by those whose livelihoods depend on the earth. It is a bridge between ancient craftsmanship and your modern garden—a symbol of authenticity that connects you directly to an actual implement of history, distinguishing it from any mere imitation. When you grip the handle and feel the balance, know that the MASAKIYO seal carries the soul of the field directly into your hands.

EFFORTLESS WEED REMOVAL

The razor-sharp, angled blade slices weeds cleanly at the roots with minimal effort. Designed to reduce back strain and fatigue, making yard work easier and faster than using large shovels or trowels.

LIGHTWEIGHT ERGONOMIC GRIP

Features a smooth, natural wood handle designed for comfort during long gardening sessions. The perfect balance between blade and handle reduces wrist fatigue and provides optimal control for every stroke.

EASY MAINTENANCE

While superior sharpness requires occasional care, this tool is designed to be easily sharpened and maintained. We stand by the quality of our centuries-old craft.
