For chilly deck parties, icy days on the lake, or cold nights at the campsite, the Portable Buddy is the perfect companion. The radiant burner acts as your own personal fire pit, with two settings giving up to 9,000 BTU of heat. Connects quickly to a 1-lb propane bottle—or to a 20-lb tank using Buddy accessories—so you can spend more time doing what you love. Speaking of time, a 1-lb bottle will last you up to three hours on the high setting, so the enjoyment (and warmth) will last. With the heaters’ Life Safety System you won’t sweat too much knowing the oxygen depletion sensor, thermal shut-down system, and tip-over switch are keeping you safe. No matter how you spend your time outside, don’t forget to bring your Portable Buddy.

Customers find the space heater performs well, heats up quickly, and is safe to use indoors. They appreciate its compact size, with one customer noting it’s perfect for a 14′ x 9′ tent, and another mentioning it’s ideal for ice fishing shelters. The durability receives mixed feedback – while some report it lasts through the night on high, others say it doesn’t even last for a full propane tank. The reliability aspect is also mixed, with customers noting it turns off when tipped over.
