The Infratech CD-5224 SS is a high-output dual-element electric infrared patio heater designed for residential and commercial comfort heating applications. Its 48-inch fixture uses two quartz heating elements to deliver 5,200 watts of concentrated radiant heat at 240 volts while drawing 21.6 amps. The CD-Series is constructed from durable 304 stainless steel and is designed for surface-mounted installations where strong heating performance and a clean architectural appearance are important. Infratech specifies an average heating area of approximately 10 x 10 feet when installed at a recommended mounting height of 8 to 10 feet.Designed for all-weather applications, the heater can be used in indoor or outdoor settings such as patios, terraces, verandas, outdoor kitchens, dining areas, restaurants, and hospitality spaces.
