How long will the battery last? Can the battery be replaced?

At the right temperature, the battery life can generally be used for 3-6 months. You could replace 3 AAA batteries for it;

In addition, the device can be connected to the product Alexa, but it can only query the temperature and humidity

Is the thermometer bound to a single phone/app? Or can it be shared with family?

You can use the family sharing function in the APP, first, create a family, and then invite others to join. But the invited person can only monitor and cannot modify the settings

Can this wifi thermometer be used in a freezer?

We do not recommend applying the smart thermometer to the refrigerator, freezer, or outdoors, it is not waterproof, and the low-temperature environment will shorten the battery life and affect the connection of the device

The WiFi is connected, but it is often disconnected. How to solve it?

Confirm the distance between the router and the device. A distance problem will cause the Wi-Fi to be disconnected. Therefore, it is recommended that the device be moved closer to the router as soon as possible and checked

What if there are no push notifications?

Check the notification settings of the mobile phone system and whether the permissions of the INKBIRD APP are turned on;

WiFi signal problems will also cause the data to fail to be reported, need to check if the device is near the router

Smart WiFi Control: It can be connected through 2.4GHz WiFi(5G WiFi is not supported, no gateway required), and it is easy to connect, no matter where you are, the mobile phone can be monitored remotely; which supports connecting multiple mobile phones, and conversely, a mobile phone can also read multiple sensors
Data Storage & Export: Built-in temperature and humidity sensors, data is stored on the server and supports up to 1 year of historical data acquisition
Smart Alert Function: The INKBIRD App supports charts, accuracy calibration is easy to navigate, temperature alarm notification (alarm supports remote alarm, app information notification, low battery reminder), data export, and recording time intervals can be set. Do not support built-in magnets (AAA battery*3 not included)
Temperature humidity range and accuracy: Temperature range: -20℃~60℃ (-4℉~140℉); support higher temperature detection accuracy: ±0.3℃/±0.5℉; humidity range: 0%RH-99%RH; humidity Detection accuracy: ±3%RH. Calibration can be performed in the INKBIRD APP
Easy to Place: The wifi temperature and humidity monitor’s design fits in the palm of your hand, and with the lanyard holes design, it’s enough to fit in potted plants, baby rooms, wine cellars, reptile vivariums, and other small spaces, not waterproof(not recommended for use in the refrigerator and freezer), meets your needs for any corner
Customers find the humidity meter easy to use and set up, with super accurate readings and consistent measurements. The device connects seamlessly to WiFi networks, though some customers report connection issues. While some customers find it a great value, others say it’s not worth the purchase. The device’s reliability and battery life receive mixed reviews, with some reporting it works well but others noting it worked inconsistently for 6 months, and while some praise its long battery life, others mention it goes through batteries quickly.
