VERY VERSATILE: many applications, including pool/hot tub & fish tank water, wood boiler, fridge and deep freezer, livestock water trough, milk, beer, wine, water, steam and pipe temperature monitoring. Additional uses include composting, HVAC/heating/cooling/ventilation management (YoLink smart plugs and switches purchased separately).
THAT WAS EASY! After the hub is set-up, adding new devices takes just a couple minutes with our app’s convenient and lightning-fast Scan & Play QR code scanner. No more waiting for WiFi! Installation can be as simple as hanging the sensor on a nail or command hook, or by placing on or inside the box or enclosure to monitor.
KNOW NOW: be informed immediately of off-normal conditions when you easily set up one or more optional notification methods, including SMS*, phone push notifications, emails, siren and/or SpeakerHub audible notifications for your home or business. *Each YoLink app account receives 5 free SMS per month per device plus five. Additional 200 or 500 SMS are available for 2 and 5 dollars per month, respectively. There are no required subscriptions and the app is always free.
NO WIFI WORRIES! And no WiFi required! YoLink utilizes a unique wireless format very different from WiFi. Based on LoRa, our devices boast 1/4 mile open-air wireless range, long battery life, and superior obstruction penetration (allowing for placement inside freezers, etc.). Communication is two-way encrypted, protecting your network security and privacy.
START SMART! A YoLink hub is REQUIRED for full functionality, including for the app to work, but your hub is compatible with a growing family of smart products for home and business, from smart locks to smart light switches and more! Search for B09FSS95G9 for a SpeakerHub (our audio, talking hub) or B07TQLKQLJ for the original Hub.
Customers find the temperature sensor accurate, with one mentioning it can generate daily temperature charts, and appreciate its easy setup, long-range capabilities, and value for money. They like the alert system that notifies them when temperatures reach critical levels. The connectivity and battery life receive mixed reviews – while some report solid connections, others struggle with WiFi connectivity, and several mention the battery drains within four months. Durability is also mixed, with some units lasting a long time while others failed after six months.
