The PetSafe KeepSafe Break-Away Safety Collars have a patented break-away buckle that separates when pressure is applied. If the collar becomes stuck on something and your dog starts to choke, the buckle releases and the collar falls off harmlessly. Collars can become caught on everyday objects such as fences, deck railings, crates, kennels, vents, bushes and trees. Many collar accidents also occur when multiple dogs are playing together at home, at the park or in doggie day care. The PetSafe KeepSafe Break-Away Safety Collars are the only collars that provides 24/7 protection for your dog.

The durability and secure fit receive mixed feedback – while some find it durable, others report it breaking away too easily, and while some say it takes a bit more force to release, others mention it pops off with minimal effort.
