USA-Grown Hemp Hurd Bedding: Made from natural hemp hurd, the soft inner core of the hemp stalk, for chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and other small pets.
Highly Absorbent Odor Control: Offers up to 2x the absorbency of pine shavings, managing moisture and unwanted odors while keeping nesting boxes, hutches, and cages drier between routine changes.
Low-Dust, Soft and Comfortable: Low-dust hemp helps keep animal habitats cleaner, while its soft texture provides comfortable cushioning for pets and eggs.
Versatile Coop and Cage Bedding: Ideal for chicken coops, nesting boxes, brooder areas, rabbit hutches, guinea pig cages, hamster habitats, and other small-animal enclosures.
Made in the USA & Paper Packaging: Sourced from American-grown hemp and packaged domestically in a recyclable paper bag, not plastic, supporting U.S. farmers with every bag.
Customers find this hemp bedding to be the best for chicken coops and nesting boxes, with no odors and virtually no dust. Moreover, the product is super absorbent, easy to clean, and keeps chickens clean. However, customers disagree on its suitability for different pets, with some finding it perfect for pet rats while others say it’s not good for chickens or guineas. Additionally, while some customers say it will last a long time, others find it not cost-effective.
