I came back here after testing the CO alarm. It works perfectly so I'm rating it 5 stars. I love that this model has a feature to show temperature and since I live in Canada, the display indicates degrees in Celsius. Now I can rest assured that it will work where I plan to actually use it – the Dominican Republic for my 7-night stay in April! The Airbnb host had told me that none is installed in the condo so I didn't want to take any chances since it is a gas stove I would be using. The lithium battery is sealed and, once activated, cannot be replaced! It is best you google the instruction manual for this particular model, easier to read than what the CO alarm comes with. It is a printable 5-page manual. The instructions are easy to understand unlike some instruction manuals which are complicated and are as long as the Bible!
