The PetSafe Pawz Away Extra Receiver Collar can help keep pets out of trouble. It works with all PetSafe indoor and outdoor systems, which act as an hidden barrier for your pets. When your cat or dog enters the barrier area, they feel a safe, progressive static correction from their receiver collar which trains them to recognize an “off limits” area. Designed for indoor and outdoor use, the waterproof receiver collars are designed for dogs and cats over 5 pounds with neck sizes 6-28 inches. The Pawz Away system works with an unlimited number of pets if they are wearing a Pawz Away Receiver Collar.

Customers find the pet collar effective at keeping dogs off furniture when they’re away and deterring them from unwanted areas. However, the collar’s durability and battery life receive negative feedback, with customers reporting it breaks free after three months and has a battery life of only two months. Moreover, the fit is problematic as the shocker part comes off quickly, and the material quality is criticized for its cheap plastic construction. Additionally, the beeping feature receives mixed reviews, with some customers reporting it beeps excessively, and customers consider it not worth the money.
