What is Diatomaceous earth?

Diatomaceous earth is a naturally occurring mineral that is made from the fossilized remains of tiny aquatic organisms, which is absorbent and quick drying.

How to clean the stone mat?

It can hold up to 150% of its weight in water, it needs adequate airflow to rapidly dry. If it stay consistently wet without proper drying, it may grow mold (at a much slower rate than regular mats). To prevent it, slightly lifted using included non-slip pad, let it fully dry between uses. If overly wet, prop it against a wall, once return to original color, it’s ready to use.

Customers find the bath mat better than cloth alternatives, with excellent water absorption that soaks up moisture quickly and keeps floors dry. They appreciate its durability, grip that prevents slipping, and odor resistance, while also finding it easy to maintain. However, customers disagree on the drying time, with some reporting it dries very quickly while others say it takes longer than 90 seconds. Additionally, the mat shows dirt and leaves a gray stone-like residue that’s difficult to clean.
