Product description

Can I install this clothes line on drywall without finding a stud?

We strongly recommend drilling into a wall stud. Drywall alone cannot support the load and may cause damage. If a stud isn’t available, use heavy-duty toggle bolts rated for high loads. For tile or concrete, standard drilling applies.

How much weight can the adhesive mounting hold?

Adhesive mounting holds approx 20 lbs, suitable for light items like socks. For heavier loads, drill into a stud to safely reach full capacity. This makes our retractable clothesline indoor setup versatile for both renters and homeowners.

Does the line retract automatically or do I wind it back manually?

The line retracts automatically via an internal spring with a slow-retract safety mechanism. Simply unlock the bottom tab, and the retractable clothesline will gently pull back in. Flip the lock tab to secure it when done.

Can I use it on an outdoor balcony?

Perfect retractable clothesline indoor & retractable clothesline outdoor. This rust-proof clothes line fits any balcony!

Why recommend the NAWIQ retractable clothesline?

NAWIQ indoor retractable clothesline features twist-to-tighten anti-sag, one-touch retraction, 40lb stud capacity & rust-proof steel.

RETRACTABLE AND SPACE SAVING: Extend the line only when you need it, then retract it back against the wall in seconds. This wall mounted clothesline helps keep bathrooms, balconies, apartments, and laundry rooms neat without taking up floor space.
TWIST-TO-TIGHTEN DESIGN: Turn the built-in dial after loading to tighten the line and reduce drooping. Towels, shirts, socks, baby clothes, and everyday laundry stay straighter and better spaced for more even air drying.
UP TO 40 LB WITH PROPER DRILL MOUNT: For the strongest hold, install into wall studs, concrete, or brick. Adhesive mounting is recommended only for smooth tile, glass, or metal surfaces and light-duty use up to 20 LB.
MADE FOR BATHROOM, BALCONY, APARTMENT, AND LAUNDRY ROOM USE: Designed for humid bathrooms, covered balconies, apartments, and similar home spaces. This retractable laundry line supports everyday drying without bulky floor racks.
STAINLESS STEEL WALL MOUNTED DRYING LINE WITH EASY SETUP: Choose the mounting method that fits your wall type and drying needs. If you need help with installation or use, our support team is ready to help you get the best setup.
Customers find the retractable clothesline easy to install and appreciate the good directions provided. However, the durability receives mixed feedback, with several customers reporting issues with the glue not holding and the product not staying securely on the wall.
