It's a good waterproof glove, not super thick or overly thin. It's best used for light to medium chores. They're available in different sizes to accommodate different sized hands, and there's a size chart on the back of the box.
We've used these gloves for years and occasionally one might rip if we used it for a task that demanded a thicker glove. The manufacturer does recommend that you don't wear jewelry and trim your nails to lessen the chance of tearing the gloves. They also warn of a possible allergic reaction to the material in the gloves.
We keep several boxes in stock since both my husband and I use them. I wear them while cleaning with chemicals, sweeping ashes from the woodburning stove, cleaning hair from the bathtub drain (ick!), painting, and generally handling anything dirty, greasy, or germy I don't want to touch. There's no sense exposing your skin to harmful chemicals or other products that can potentially hurt or dry out your hands. This is especially important if you have any cuts on your hands that could get infected.
My husband uses them in the workshop, while hauling the germy trash bin to the curb, in the garage when working on the cars, outside when working with plants, while painting, and working on anything he doesn't want the oil from his hands transferring onto. He'll often slip on a pair before he puts on garden gloves to provide further protection from anything wet seeping through.
We both keep several pairs in the cars for when we pump gas, or for protection if circumstances present themselves where we need to safeguard our hands from dirt or germs. Place a few pairs in your glove box or in the center console, but don't expose them to direct sunlight.
I definitely recommend this product that's worth the money to protect your hands.
